ERASMUS+ IN ACTION AND PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

This course* provides educators with an integrated toolkit to transform their classrooms into innovation hubs. The program is built around three pillars of Active Learning:

  • Project-Based Learning (PBL): engaging students in solving realworld challenges through meaningful projects.
  • Entrepreneurial Labs: fostering creativity, initiative, and an entrepreneurial mindset across subjects.
  • Service Learning: connecting classroom learning with community needs to create a positive social impact.

OBJECTIVES

This course aims to:

  • integrate Active Learning: Master PBL, Entrepreneurial Labs, and Service Learning
  • train a personal AI pedagogical consultant to automate project design and rubrics
  • link classroom projects to startups, cooperatives, and cultural heritage
  • enhance Erasmus+ Projects
  • transform outdoor and historical spaces into “living laboratories” for learning

*This course is subject to a minimum of 10 participants

Day by day programme

  • Introduction to PBL, EntreComp, and Active Learning
  • Creating an AI pedagogical assistant for project design
  • Team-building activity and urban exploration in Parma

  • Exploring Service Learning and active citizenship
  • Visit to an innovative Italian educational hub
  • Developing collaborative project ideas

  • Designing an entrepreneurial learning project
  • Applying EntreComp, Scrum, and Kanban in the classroom
  • Using AI to support planning and project development

  • Visit to a local startup incubator
  • Refining projects with AI-generated teaching materials and rubrics
  • Completing the project toolkit

  • Presenting entrepreneurial projects through peer review
  • Creating dissemination materials with AI
  • Final reflection and certificate ceremony

  • Participants will transform the historic “living laboratory” of the old town into a resource for active learning. Working in collaborative teams, educators will co-design a Project-Based Learning (PBL) activity that utilizes the town’s architectural and historical assets as primary educational tools.

Visit iconic landmarks such as the Cathedral, the Baptistery, and the Teatro Regio, while discovering the city’s traditions in music, art, and gastronomy. Discover the charm of the surrounding countryside through visits to picturesque villages and castles in the Parma hills. These excursions offer insights into local history, traditional food production, rural culture, and sustainable community life.
  • Cinque Terre: take an optional guided excursion to the spectacular Cinque Terre, exploring its colourful coastal villages, terraced landscapes, and unique cultural heritage. Participants can experience breathtaking scenery while learning about local traditions.
